The reason I created the Inspirit Technique is because my eldest son who has Level 1 Autism was suffering from anxiety attacks (especially at school) and it got so bad that the school were ringing me constantly to come and collect him because he felt sick. This was his reaction to the anxiety.
I decided to show him some simple, effective and discreet techniques that he could learn to do on himself as his anxiety attacks were happening that would allow him to take control of his feelings and physical symptoms and asked the school to let him have 5 minutes practising these techniques before they rang me.
And they worked so well, they haven’t had to ring me since! His particular favourites that work well for him are acupressure, breathwork, and crystals.
I shared the techniques with some friends whose children also suffered from anxiety and it worked for them too.
They all became more confident, happier and more resilient.
It’s such a worry as a parent when your child suffers from anxiety as you can feel helpless but this really works.
